Editorial: Where are men like this in the United States Department of Defense?

In a recent YouTube posting, Australian Army Chief Lt. General David Morrison recently spoke on the subject of unacceptable behavior in the Australian Army. The conduct was in relation to the degredation of colleagues through use of Australian Military Email servers currently under investigation by the Military Police and the Police of New South Wales.

He had expressed that he would be ruthless in dealing with such conduct, and asked for the help of the Australian public in doing so.

To be honest, we need more Commanding Officers like this man in addressing the Sexual Assault and Rape of “Men and Women” within the United States Military, instead of ordering witnesses not to testify at Congressional Hearings on the topic. Women in this day and age, have to have a great deal of Combat Experience in order to survive daily life in major U.S. Cities. Sometimes, Military service is the only way out for those who would have to life under civilian conditions that would have them dead before the age of 18.
